Enjoy Game Day in Child Custody…
Coach Foxtrot here. You guys ever get a pop quiz in school? Were you excited about it? How about a test you knew was coming up and fretted and fretted about it? Now imagine someone walking up to Bo Nix or Tua Tagovailoa on the street near a park and challenging them to quick flag football pick up game. Think they’re scared in that situation? Think they’re excited about Saturdays down south or do you think they’d rather everyone just leave them alone?
Your Child Custody court hearings in front of the Judge, the Other Side, God, DHR and whoever the hell else is Game Day. You don’t even have to be the Tua of parenting. You think this kid from New Mexico St. is scared of stepping out into Bryant Denny Stadium for the biggest game of his life or do you think he’s fired up!
Listen to Coach Foxtrot, get your head on straight. This is an opportunity to show off! Do you believe in what you’re doing for yourself, your family and your children as a parent? Then let’s do this!
Routines and the Process
You don’t start getting ready for Game Day on Monday and hope everything falls your way by Saturday. These 200-350 pound kids we watch bang their still developing heads into one another every weekend have been going to the gym and running sprints pretty much every day since they were 12.
So what routines or principles do you base your parenting off of? There’s a million different ones and though most are intuitive you can find all the others on the internet. But, the principles we coach our clients to base them on are (1) take care of your body, (2) take care of your money and (3) take care of your kids. When you build your daily schedule and routine around those things, Game Day in the courtroom is no sweat.
Strategy and Game Film
That doesn’t mean there aren’t specific things you need to do as soon as possible. Our guys Tua and Bo go to the gym and throw dozens if not hundreds of passes every day, but they still watch film, consider specific threats that LSU or maybe even Ole Miss poses and pay special attention.
So what can you do to specifically prepare for Child Custody Game Day? First, get a lawyer. (See that coming?) You’ve got the raw talent, but we’ve got the game plan. We know how to highlight and maximize your strengths, help you own and learn from your weaknesses and make an effective presentation to the Judge.
Tiger Woods had Butch Harmon. Tua’s got Nick. Get with a coach asap and let them help you take that hard work you’re already putting in every day and mold it into a Child Custody machine.
Court is the Easy Part (and maybe even fun)
Congratulations! It’s Game Day. You don’t have to run sprints. You don’t have to run the same boring play 10 times until you get it right. You’ve put in the hard work already and now it’s time to shine!
You’ve watched film and done witness preparation. You know what the Other Side is going to bring up and ask you. Your Child Custody Lawyer is ready to test the Other Side’s defense. It’s okay to be nervous, but it’s nothing to be afraid of.
Bring it on. Now let’s get out there on the field and show the Other Side who we are.
