Tell Your Child Custody Love Story…
When folks think about #ChildCustody they might think first about anger and sadness, but it’s really just a Love Story….
It doesn’t have to be two folks dragging each other and their children through something horrible, but it can turn into that if you’re not operating at the highest level. We believe that #CoParenting and the Family Courts, at their best, are an opportunity to make lives better, not worse. At its core, Child Custody is a Love Story, and it’s up to you to tell it.
If you don’t tell it, who will? Are you a character in the Other Side’s story? A victim even? …some challenge for the Other Side to overcome in their quest? Or, have you taken the time to examine yourself, your principles and your love for yourself and your children and made educated decisions about who you are and how want to run your life and your household?
If you are the one telling your story, what happens next? How does that get you where you want to be? …where you want your children to be? There will be anger, certainly, and sadness and disappointment. You are not in control of everything, and there will be setbacks in your tale. But if you didn’t care so much it wouldn’t hurt so much. You won’t ever be sure how it ends, and honestly, it never really does, but this is Valentine’s Day, and this is your Love Story.
