Child Custody Devotional – Cultivate Quality in Child Custody and Co-Parenting

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. Luke 16:10

~ Slow down. Take your time. Make the perfect cup of coffee or a really good sandwich. Take a really good breath. Find flow in the process. When we take on too much we’re bound to get sloppy results. When we get sloppy results we learn sloppy results; we can’t help but become accustomed to sloppy results.

~ Sometimes, though, we have no choice but to tackle a complicated challenge or difficult project that exceeds our current skill set (whether that skill is patience, perspective or something more tangible). We still have the opportunity to break down a process into smaller, simpler steps. We can identify fundamentals or first principles.

~

We have an opportunity to chop wood and carry water. Quality follows quality.
