Sometimes things sound good or sound true either aren’t true or at least not applicable to your unique situation. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” or “pride goes before the fall.”

In #childcustody and #coparenting, it’s really easy for the Other Side, friends and family, the internet or even the Judge to lump your situation in with all the others by using an aphoristic analysis rather than thoughtful consideration of your family’s unique circumstances.
~
Get clear on what’s unique about your situation and how you are uniquely able to be effective in your unique circumstance. I guess the other option is to “let sleeping dogs lie” ????
