Need a Child Custody Haircut?
Updated: Mar 22

Ever asked a barber if you need a haircut? We make that joke a lot in our consultations and in casual conversation since “Do I need a lawyer…?” is easily one of the top 5 questions we get early on in representing our clients. The joke belies a deeper, scarier truth, though. You don’t cut your own hair, and that’s just your hair.
Derek Sivers said “if it were just having the right information we’d all be billionaires with six-pack abs.” Most of us are not. We should take away something fundamental from that. It’s about action, about what you’re doing to address your #ChildCustody and #CoParenting situation or meet any other challenge in your life.
We are in the golden age of information. It’s all readily available, easily searchable, and mostly free. It’s also been that way for the last couple of years. And yet a lot of folks still face the same challenges they did 6 months ago, a year ago.
That said, the law is public domain and you have every legal right to represent yourself. If your question is “Do I have to have a lawyer…?” then here are some scissors: https://codes.findlaw.com/al/.
