There’s No Such Thing as Luck in Child Custody

I’ve been thinking about randomness in life, family, work and, of course, #ChildCustody. We toss around the term ‘luck’ more than we do randomness, but here’s the problem there. Luck is closely associated with judgment; luck is typically perceived as either good or bad. Randomness, though, is just that, random. Consider a coin toss…heads is not inherently better than tails. They’re just different and in certain situations, e.g., an american football game, lead to different challenges but not necessarily different outcomes.

In life and in #childcustody, imagine flipping a 27-sided coin each day. We can practice non-judgment and be thankful for the chance to be creative, work hard and in alignment with our core values, doing our best with whatever side comes up.
