Today is the First Day of Spring

Today is the first day of Spring…

It seems Earth has kept orbiting our sun. I say our sun because there are 100 billion suns in our Milky Way alone.

I say our Milky Way because there are more than 100 billion galaxies in the universe.

We’re not as big as we think we are, or at least as we act like we are.

We can choose to take solace in the smallness of it all.

If we believe that our lives are a grain of sand on a beach, then what should we make of each season of our lives? Maybe we should just appreciate it. For better or worse, each season shall pass.
